Recently, the entire RT team got together to celebrate the completion of The RT 100 Day Transformation. There were hot dogs and burgers ... giant cookies ... a raucous game of volleyball with a gigantic ball as well as a piñata that the kids completely annihilated. Everyone's spouses and kids came as we celebrated this special day.
As you may have read in Rob's earlier blog post, the 100 day goal came out of a difficult season for us. 2015 began with some challenges which caused a need for us to stop forward motion, anchor the boat, and begin a lengthy clean up.
Anchoring the boat didn't mean halting the business. No, it meant keeping the business running, but we had soft areas in our hull that needed attention. We had to rework our structure, revamp and develop new processes and policies moving forward. We chose the analogy of anchoring the boat as a reminder to continue trusting in our Lord, for He alone is faithful. During storms and rough seas, He is our anchor (Hebrews 6:19).
It has been so exciting to see everyone get on board with the idea of transformation. There is a communal feeling that we are working toward one goal and pushing ahead with great progress. We are reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 2:2, where he encouraged the church at Phillipi to, "make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose."
The past 100 days gave us a renewed focus as well as the chance to "pull up our anchors" and start sailing again. We have many new and exciting things to share with you in the coming months. Thank you for your continued love and support of RT Creative Group!
